What’s involved in this role: We are looking for an Automation Manager in Luxemburg, WI. Manages and coordinates workers engaged in the automation of equipment while applying learned knowledge of processes involved and production methods. Drive training and coaching to ensure compliance with Safety standards and incident prevention. Perform installations and repairs in a manufacturing environment on all electrical related systems, instrumentation, and controls. Work with the plant, corporate and client personnel to resolve day-to-day production tasks/needs as they arise. Assist Engineering Team with automation and electrical initiatives on Capex projects. Works with an internal maintenance department to perform repair duties outside the scope of electrical. Troubleshoot and repair building and production equipment as assigned in a timely manner. What you need to join our team: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required. Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role required. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Where you’ll be working: Our Luxemburg, WI, plant is home to about 170 employees. This facility produces mozzarella and provolone cheese, as well as various whey streams. Agropur’s US operations produce 1 billion pounds of quality, award-winning cheese each year. We create more than 20 different varieties, and provide whey protein and dry ingredients which are by-products of the cheesemaking process.
