Position Overview

A private, high-net-worth family in Manhattan is seeking an experienced Evening Housekeeper to join their household team. This role will work alongside an existing morning housekeeper and will focus on maintaining the household’s high standards of cleanliness and organization during the afternoon and evening hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in a formal, white-glove household and be adaptable to the family’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties, ensuring the home is kept in pristine condition.
• Laundry and ironing
• Organizing closets
• Assist with packing and unpacking
• Assist with light cooking, preferably with experience in Bhutanese or Filipino cuisine.
• Support with serving meals and beverage service. 
• Run local errands, including grocery and drugstore shopping.
• Provide light pet care, including an occasional additional walk for the family dog (a regular dog walker is also employed).
• Work collaboratively with the existing morning housekeeper, following household protocols and preferences.

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar position within a private home
• Prior experience in a formal household setting preferred.
• Ability to be trained by the existing housekeeper and adapt to the home’s service standards.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to adjust to the family’s evolving needs.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
• Strong communication skills and discretion.
• Pet friendly
• Flexible with schedule and ability to work evening schedule
• Must have US Valid Work Authorization
