HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
The HR Assistant is a key member of the Human Resources Team in our corporate office in Woburn, MA. The highly organized HR Assistant will be primarily responsible for assisting the HR team with recruiting and onboarding all our employees across multiple states.
The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm.
As the HR Assistant your main responsibilities include:
- Posting of open jobs on company's ATS.
- Administer the pre-hire process. Submit background and drug screening requests. Monitor all results and effectively communicate with hiring managers on the next steps.
- Create all the new offer letters via the company’s ATS. Also create all internal transfer and promotion offer letters.
- Manage the onboarding process for all new employees and be the point of contact for questions.
- Enroll new employees on our online training portal and assign courses.
- Responsible for updating the internal open job postings and sending out weekly emails.
- Design and distribute monthly employee newsletter.
- Process and track employee referral bonuses.
- Organize and maintain electronic employee files in the HRIS system.
- Update HR forms and documents as needed.
- Respond to service tickets via our Help Desk.
- Be the HR point of contact for all employees.
- Collaborate and interface with other departments as needed.
What You Bring to Us:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree, a degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of recruiting coordination and administrative experience required.
- Experience with an HRIS system is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and Canva.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Customer service mindset.
- Team player.
