Job Title: Medical Assistant – Mental Health

Annual Salary Range: $53,076 - $60,288

Work Locations: Various Locations Across California, including the Northern California Coast, San Francisco Bay Area, Capitol Corridor, and Southern California.

In the fast-paced field of mental health care, the Medical Assistant (MA) is a key support member, working closely with our mental health providers to ensure high-quality patient care. Under the clinical supervision of our mental health team, the MA is responsible for performing patient-centered tasks and ensuring smooth operations within the mental health clinic. This position requires clear communication with patients and other health care professionals to foster a cohesive team environment.

In addition to direct patient care, the Medical Assistant plays an essential administrative role, ensuring the effective flow of operations and supporting the appropriate use of healthcare resources.

In this role you will:

• Prepare patients for mental health clinic visits and provide administrative support.
• Assist the mental health team with daily operations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver the best possible care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid certification from a Department of Consumer Affairs Medical Board-approved agency, such as:
• American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
• American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CCBMA)
• Multi-skilled Medical Certification Institute, Inc. (MMCI)
