Culture of Continuous Improvement

- Professional Development for 3 weeks before meeting students
- Instruction for students for 1 week in August before the fall session begins
- Student-led family conferences three times a year (no instruction on these days)
- Participate in school-wide and weekly Operations and Student Support team meetings to develop skills and understand critical information. Engage fully to identify problems and create solutions.
Essential Job Functions
School Operations and Logistics
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the main office, ensuring service, organization, friendliness, and professionalism. Maintain welcoming reception and handle visitors and calls promptly.
- Assist core operational systems: student arrival, attendance, transitions, and dismissal.
- Assist in preparing the school for the year, including ordering supplies.
- Coordinate logistics for school meal services, ensuring scheduling and compliance.
- Manage the Free and Reduced Lunch Program and process.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for school-wide events, including evenings or weekends.
- Translate documents into Spanish and provide live interpretation as needed.
- Manage facility requests and communicate with the facilities team.
Enrollment
- Assist in student recruitment, outreach, and tours.
- Maintain student files and coordinate enrollment processes.
- Manage the student waiting list and organize applications.
- Ensure lottery compliance and document the process.
- Handle student transfer and withdrawal paperwork.
Technology
- Support school technology needs, including devices, software, and network infrastructure.
- Distribute, maintain, and collect technology devices.
Finance and Purchasing
- Assist with procurement, distribution, and inventory of supplies.
- Support the annual financial audit process.
Academic Operations
- Assist with assessments, including administration, scoring, and analysis.
- Prepare for parent-teacher conferences, including printing reports and materials.
- Support assessment processes and project planning, including inventory and school startup activities.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate moves with purpose, anticipates needs, and manages systems effectively.
Required:
- Expansive sense of agency
- Hunger for feedback and commitment to improvement
- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluency in Spanish (oral and written)
- 3-5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a school
- Experience with data management systems (ATS, PowerSchool, Schoolmint)
- Exceptional skills in Google Suite and Excel

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range $75,000 - $90,000, based on experience

Physical Requirements
This role may require lifting items up to 20 pounds, assisting coworkers, and frequent movement, including standing, walking, and computer use.
