Job Description:
- Advises, consults and coordinates service projects such as developing the addition, expansion or extension of an existing facility; or renovation/alterations to a facility in collaboration with project team.
- Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
- Organizes and ensures that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time.
- Responsible for quality projects being built on time and within budget. Ensures scope/change orders are processed and incorporated into the current scope of work in a timely
- Meets with clients and establishes their requirements.
- Reviews plans, specifications, submittals and other contract documents to create a job plan for the successful completion of assigned projects.
- Provides regular detailed reporting and metrics to upper management on existing projects that provides periodic status and end of contract cost and budget
- Conducts pre-job planning with proper parties, ensures all action items are completed. Develops and keeps all project schedules current.
- Establishes and executes subcontracts and equipment buy-outs to support schedules and
- Represents company and project details in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc.
- Communicates all project issues to the appropriate level of management in a timely
- Assembles the estimate for the project and reviews with field supervisor, effective manpower planning for future projects, including direction of specialty subcontractors.
- Prepares and submits monthly contract billings to ensure proper cash flow during contract
- Manages conflict resolution with customers, vendors, trades or
- Identifies and develops policies and procedures for continuous aggressive
- Visits job sites or onsite offices, performs work inspections, checks job progress, and resolves project and contract
- Responsible for keeping the Warranty Log up to date
Minimum education preferred of the position
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum experience preferred of the position
- 5+ years
