Software Engineer II (Python or C#/.Net)

Pay Rate: $50.00 to $52.00 per hr.

We're looking for a hands-on Software Engineer II to support a major migration from a legacy system to a modern enterprise data platform. This role is part of an ongoing transformation project that began in early 2025. You'll help accelerate development by contributing to backend services and high-performance data pipelines in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and .NET (C#).
• Design, build, and optimize ETL data pipelines for enterprise data platforms using Snowflake and Foundry.
• Write and optimize queries in SQL and work with NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and support deployment automation.
• Apply data engineering best practices to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in daily Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-6 years of professional experience in software or data engineering roles
• Proficiency in Python or .NET (C#)
• Experience building enterprise data platforms and ETL pipelines
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Snowflake and/or Foundry
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, particularly around CI/CD pipelines
• Agile team experience

Bonus Skills

• TypeScript (used within the team)
• Apache Spark or other distributed data processing tools
• Experience in data migrations or modernization projects
