The Assistant Director of Operations reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day processes of the hotel's Rooms Division, F&B Division as well as the Spa, Recreation and Gas Station departments, while assisting guests whenever necessary. This position requires strong leadership skills and a willingness to work different shifts as the demands of business dictates. This role will have exposure and responsibilities in Front Office operations, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Gas Station and Spa & Recreation. Duties would include but not limited to:

1. Responsible for short and long term planning and the management of the Hotel Operations.
2. Develop and recommend the budget, marketing plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans.
3. Ability to assimilate operational statistics quickly and see how they can be used to enhance position of property.
4. Experience developing standards and operating procedures.
5. Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance and salary reviews.
6. Direct the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for food and beverage operations.
7. Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
8. Implement procedures to increase guest and associate satisfaction.
9. Performing daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous hospitality management experience required.
• Rooms Management experience is highly desired.
• A valid Drivers License is required.
• Schedule varies; must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
