Azure Security Engineer - Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC

An MSP with a local government client is currently looking for an Azure Security Engineer to add to their growing team. This team is responsible for managing the backend infrastructure of a major application and making sure it stays in consistent uptime. The app is deployed in Azure, and this Security Engineer will be responsible for digesting the information from vulnerability scans, assessing the environment, hardening the systems, and gauging audit readiness. They will also make recommendations on how to make improvements based on the Azure Secure Score.

This role will require someone to work on site in downtown Phoenix 5 days a week.

Contract Duration: 1 year
Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of specific security focused experience
• Experience digesting information from vulnerability scans and collaborating on vulnerability management
• Experience with system hardening of cloud or on-prem environments
• Knowledge of compliance and audit readiness
• Azure experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• Networking background is a big plus
