Paid Internships at Production Resource Group are educational work experiences for individuals who wish to explore a career with PRG and/or develop hands-on knowledge and skill in the business of entertainment technology.
We are looking for a Business Analyst Intern for the entertainment business. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to merge your passion for theater and entertainment with the analytical world of business. - Analyze business trends and performance metrics
- Assist in data collection, reporting, and visualization
- Develop models and reports to track key sales metrics and support ad hoc data requests
- Help craft compelling business narratives for stakeholders
- Apply creative problem-solving to real-world business challenges
- Support performance management weekly/monthly reporting (KPIs, Forecasts, revenue trend analysis)
- Review current data analysis processes and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives
Qualifications
We are looking for applicants who:
- Currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor's program in Business, Finance, Analystics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Ability to research and analyze data to identify trends
- Ability to work on a team
- Travel: Ability to travel to attend in person meetings 20-30%
- Must have valid driver’s license
- May perform other incidental tasks, as needed.
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the country the internship is located.
- For internships in the US, students must pass a drug test prior to employment.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- The position requires the ability to see clearly (with or without the aid of glasses or contact lenses) during responsibilities on and off a computer.
- Must be able to communicate effectively by listening and in both written and verbal forms.
