A C++ Software Engineer job is available with our client in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development and test of specialized solutions that are used by our warfighters worldwide on patrol in hostile environments, whether urban, canyon, mountains, or jungles. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s Degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US Citizenship is required.

***Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time***

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development and test of specialized solutions that are used by our warfighters worldwide on patrol in hostile environments, whether urban, canyon, mountains, or jungles.
* Maintain the current live system.
* Help add new capabilities, enhancements and replaces end of life components.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor"s Degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
* Significant C++ programing experience.
* Embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Integrity, PetaLinux).
* Ability to lead the software development process.
* Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways.
* Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
