CAD Technician at PrideStaff

Responsibilities:

• Design and layout of fire sprinkler system drawings and calculations.
• Design and layout of drainage piping systems.
• Surveying land to develop working drawings for subdivisions and land plats.
• Drawing survey plats, land descriptions, and updating tax maps from land deeds.
• Preparing CAD drawings for the manufacture of upholstered furniture frames.
• Drafting/Designing bath mold fixtures and support structures.
• Drafting/Designing fixtures for all production areas, including steel fabrication, powder coating, and composite production.
• 3 Dimensional modeling of bath mold fixtures and support structures using Inventor.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Drafting and Design or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Experience in machine design, manufacturing process improvement, and machine automation is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Skills

• Exceptional knowledge of AutoCAD drafting techniques and geometric dimensioning procedures.
• Familiarity with drafting standards (ASME, ANSI, and AWS).
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows and Macintosh applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and computer graphics software.
• In-depth knowledge of computer 3D modeling, digital layout, advanced image editing, and technical computer design.
• Ability to read, create, and interpret field notes, site analysis, sketches, blueprints, and mechanical schematics.
