A large company in Brooklyn is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define and implement the company's technology vision, ensuring a sustainable and scalable technical foundation. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep architectural knowledge, a strong software development background, and the ability to balance strategic planning with technical execution.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Architect and manage technical infrastructure, designing scalable systems for long-term sustainability.
2. Establish best practices for code quality, system architecture, and testing to ensure software reliability.
3. Oversee the integration of legacy systems with new technologies and third-party platforms.
4. Balance high-level technical planning with hands-on coding and problem-solving.
5. Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure maintainable, high-quality code.
6. Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
7. Optimize resource allocation across development projects.
8. Provide accurate time and complexity estimations for project planning.
9. Represent the development team in key project meetings, ensuring alignment with company goals.
10. Assist in recruitment and hiring, attracting top talent for the department.
11. Mentor and foster a collaborative, high-performance technical team.

Ideal Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of software development experience, with a proven track record of leading long-term projects.
2. Deep architectural expertise in designing scalable solutions.
3. Proficiency in .NET Core, Angular 5+, MS SQL, Git, and Azure Cloud Services.
4. Experience with DevOps, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
5. Strong problem-solving, system design, and CI/CD implementation skills.
6. Ability to work hands-on with developers while maintaining a strategic vision.
7. Experience in mentoring teams and driving technical excellence.

Salary: $200k - $300k/Year
