Day to day as a Consumer Loan Operations Specialist II
As a Consumer Loan Operations Specialist II at Christian Community Credit Union, you will play a pivotal role in funding consumer loans while ensuring seamless operations within the Loan Operations department. A key aspect of your position will involve auditing DMV documentation, collecting necessary fees, and processing paperwork to secure title. You will also release vehicle titles on paid-off loans and address member requests for existing vehicle loans, which maintaining current knowledge of DMV rules and regulations to support nationwide lending expertise. Your responsibilities will also include managing non-real estate consumer loans and providing essential backup support for real estate loans related to residential and Ministry accounts. You will efficiently process Mechanical Repair Coverage requests and refunds, along with Guaranteed Asset Protection requests and cancellations.

To thrive as a Consumer Loan Operations Specialist II at Christian Community Credit Union, you will need a solid foundation in vehicle title perfection, with a minimum of two years' experience in this area, along with at least one year of experience working in a financial institution. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a two-year college degree or specialized training is preferred. Familiarity with nationwide title perfection and loan funding experience will be advantageous.
Proficiency in word processing (preferably Word) and spreadsheets (Excel) is essential, as you'll be managing various documentation and reporting tasks. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are crucial for effectively prioritizing tasks and managing time in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, excellent oral and written communication skills, professional telephone etiquette, and a good math aptitude, accompanied by accurate typing skills at 25wpm, will further enhance your success in this role. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum two years of experience in perfecting vehicle title required
- Minimum one year of experience working in a financial institution required
- Two-year college degree, completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of a specialized in-house training, preferred
- Familiarity with perfecting vehicle title nationwide preferred
- Loan funding experience preferred
- Knowledge of word processing (Word preferred) and spreadsheets (Excel preferred)
- Possess strong organizational skills, good attention to detail, the ability to prioritize, effectively manage time, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good oral/written communication skills & professional telephone etiquette
- Good math aptitude & accurate typing skills at 25wpm
