Summary:

This role requires strategic thinking, building connections and influencing stakeholders through effective communication, an analytical mindset, and a bias towards action.This person will lead the finance support for the Global Affairs function at Meta, working closely with Global Affairs leadership. Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high-energy environment.
Required Skills:
Director of Finance, Global Affairs Responsibilities:
1. Create strong business partnerships with leadership within Global Affairs (Policy, Communications and Governance teams)
2. Provide financial leadership across planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
3. Provide hands-on analytic support and develop actionable insights and reporting that will influence key decision makers to allocate resources more effectively
4. Develop a deep understanding of cost drivers for both OpEx and Headcount
5. Help define and implement scalable financial processes
6. make us and our business partners more efficient
7. Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management
Minimum Qualifications:

8. 12+ years of finance-related experience
9. BA/BS in business, finance, accounting, management or related field
10. Experience in financial planning and creating data-driven analysis
11. Proven track record of collaborating with leadership
12. Proven track record in evaluating business decisions, including identifying gaps or business needs, and proposing and implementing solutions

13. Experience supporting Policy, Communications, or Marketing organizations would be beneficial
14. Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle EPM
15. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
16. Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting, management or related field
Public Compensation:
$219,000/year to $288,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
