Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks
• Move materials within the warehouse or storage yard
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Receive, unpack, and check incoming shipments
• Gather, pack, prepare, and load goods for dispatching
• Ensure proper storage of materials and goods
• Follow safety procedures and regulations

Skills and Qualifications:

• Forklift certification
• Experience operating various types of forklifts (e.g., stand-up, sit-down, reach truck, pallet jack)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Basic computer skills for inventory management

Additional Duties May Include:

• Assisting with cycle counts or physical inventory
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Completing shipping and receiving paperwork
• Building displays
