Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 international firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their Investment Funds practice group. This role focuses on handling complex matters related to the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Bar Admission in New York or Washington, D.C., as applicable.
• 4+ years of experience in Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act matters.
• Experience supporting closed-end funds, such as tender offer funds, interval funds, and business development companies, is essential.
• Experience supporting open-end funds and/or ETFs is a plus.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on matters related to the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act.
• Provide support for a variety of closed-end funds, including drafting and negotiating key fund documents.
• Work closely with a collaborative team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients.
• Handle matters involving open-end funds and ETFs, contributing to the firm's comprehensive investment funds practice.
