Lead Systems Administrator (Linux/Cloud) at Judge Group

• Lead the administration and maintenance of Linux/Unix systems in both on-premise and GCP environments.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab.
• Monitor system performance, apply patches, manage file systems, and troubleshoot alerts using commercial and open-source tools.
• Provide 24/7 production support, including participation in an on-call rotation and scheduled off-hours maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and resolve production issues.
• Drive root cause analysis and propose long-term technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with change control and release management processes.
• Deliver weekly reports on infrastructure health, project status, and key metrics.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to meet operational goals and project timelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in 24/7 systems administration in Linux/Unix environments, including data centers and public cloud (GCP preferred).
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and service management tools (e.g., CMDB, asset management).
