Responsibilities:The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Keysight’s campus in Santa Rosa, CA exists to providehigh precision mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Keysight’s industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As a manufacturing engineer you will develop and sustain manufacturing processes utilizingcutting edge technologiesto achieve micron level tolerances in precision machining. Working closely with R&D on microwave and mm wave applications you will influence and create designs for mechanical components and assemblies, facilitating their release and supporting production.
As a manufacturing engineer your duties may include:
• Investigating the latestprecision machining technologies
• Tooling design
• Providing design for manufacturing input on new product design
• Troubleshooting process issues
• Root cause analysis
• Documentation creation and maintenance
- Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or applicable Sciences
- 5-7+ years of applicable experience inprecision machining, manufacturing and design (part design, product design, and/or process design)
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in and/or lead diverse cross-functional teams
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to prioritize day to day activities balancing immediate needs with long term project goals
- Solid modeling experience
- Familiarity with RF, microwave and mm wave applications desired
Pay Range:
USD $111,940.00 - USD $186,570.00 Year
