Medical Assistant - Nephrology

Pay From: $20 per hour

MUST:
2+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant - Nephrology
Experience working in a private medical office
Experience working front desk (checking in patients, collecting copayments, etc.)
Experience giving injections
Experience triaging patients and reviewing lab results
Ability to assist physicians as needed
Experience working with EPIC EMR systems

DUTIES:
The duties of the Medical Assistant include but are not limited to the following:
Room patients and prepare patients for examinations
Triage patients and review lab results over the phone
Give injections
Assist physicians
Obtain histories and update EMR
Write orders for tests
Assist with scheduling appointments
Call in prescriptions
Maintain and stock supplies for exam rooms
