Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Performance Test Lead with Utilities Domain Experience.

In the role of Performance Test Lead, responsible for providing technical expertise and strategic direction to the organization in the area of application performance solutions. This role will contribute to the planning, execution, analysis, and tuning efforts to deliver high-performing end-to-end applications. The Performance Test Architect works as a liaison in requirement sessions and user story creation to ensure that performance requirements, approaches, tools, and techniques are integrated into a relevant performance test methodology for the solution. Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
2. At least 4 years of experience with IT.
3. Location for this position is Pomona, California. Travel requirement: 10%.
4. Candidates authorized to work in the US without employer-sponsored visa are welcome. No immigration sponsorship is provided for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

1. At least 4 years of experience in Performance Testing.
2. Strong knowledge of Utilities – Customer Service or Transmission & Distribution areas.
3. Experience coordinating onsite and offshore teams for multiple projects.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Experience diagnosing complex technical issues.
6. Experience with load generation, bottleneck analysis, modeling tools, and statistical analysis.
7. Ability to analyze and interpret technical data and performance metrics.
8. Ability to communicate system performance results clearly to stakeholders.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with development, engineering, and architecture teams.
10. Hands-on experience with scripting and execution using JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, and protocols like HTTP/HTML, Web services, Citrix, Ajax, etc.
11. Proficiency in understanding and presenting performance testing metrics.
12. Experience executing various performance tests (Load, Stress, Endurance, Scalability).
13. Developing performance test plans and reports.
14. Experience with test management tools like ALM, Jira, etc.
15. Creating test data setup strategies.
16. Strong leadership and analytical skills, and ability to work in diverse stakeholder environments.
17. Experience in a global delivery environment.

Additional Information

The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Communication by phone, email, or face-to-face is required. Travel may be necessary.

Estimated annual salary range for Pomona, CA: $69,938 to $97,669.
