Position Description

As part of our Group Process Development team, you will be working onsite at our global headquarters pioneering cutting-edge machines, collaborating across departments, and leading the way in cost reduction, optimizing manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Diagnosing issues and providing timely solutions to prevent downtime in the production process.
- Process Improvement: Identifying areas where processes can be improved in terms of efficiency, cost reduction, or output quality.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of designs, modifications, testing, and performance analysis for future reference or regulatory purposes.
- Design and Optimization: Developing and optimizing systems, circuits, and processes to improve efficiency and reliability in manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, production, and other departments to ensure cohesive system performance.
Performance Objectives:
Within your first 30 days:
- Complete all Applied Learning foundational courses with a passing grade of 95% or above, demonstrating rapid integration into company processes.
- Participate in team meetings and operations, contributing valuable insights and ideas to at least three team discussions.
Within 60 days:
- Complete at least two project milestones ahead of schedule, showcasing a deep understanding of role processes and projects.
- Take ownership of low to moderately-guided projects, ensuring 100% progress to the next phase, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
Within 90 days to one year:
- Contribute significantly to a minimum of three projects and lead one project management initiative.
- Cultivate strong interpersonal connections.
- Lead at least three moderate to complex projects, all completed within budget and ahead of schedule, displaying autonomy and advanced project management skills.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Biomedical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proficient at reading schematics (i.e. Altium), generating spreadsheets, scheduling programs, and word processing.
- Knowledgeable on a variety of electronic circuits.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must have a technical aptitude and be detail-oriented.
- Familiar with electronic lab equipment.
Preferred
- Experience in engineering (i.e. internships or co-ops).
- Engineering capstone projects related to electronic or medical devices.
- Working knowledge of PCBA manufacturing and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
- Experience with technical writing.
- Understanding of manufacturing and quality standards, including FDA regulations and ISO quality systems.
