REMOTE Territory Sales Manager – Transplant (Kidney) - Northeast (NY, CT, MA, RI, NH, ME)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Territory Manager - Transplant Medicine (Kidney)- Northeast to oversee and drive the growth of our transplant-related product offerings within the specified territory. This role involves generating demand, coordinating product adoption, onboarding new customers, and ensuring a positive customer experience through effective use of our clinical, provider, patient, and practice management support systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Account Management:
- Achieve 100% of sales expectations for the assigned territory.
- Strive to exceed performance metrics as determined by sales leadership.
- Monitor patient and provider experience in collaboration with the client services team.
- Analyze data to develop a territory plan aimed at achieving financial objectives.
- Travel locally and overnight to visit existing and prospective clients, effectively covering the geographical territory.
- Organize and prioritize sales activities to meet business needs and objectives set by sales management.
- Collaborate with various internal teams on strategic cross-selling initiatives.
Selling and Client Engagement:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow the diagnostic test portfolio.
- Maintain and grow the patient base at existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction through ongoing contact.
- Generate new business with prospective clients by communicating the benefits of our products, delivering product information, and preparing quotes and proposals.
- Move clients through the sales process efficiently, from prospect to customer.
- Deliver formal sales presentations and follow through to ensure product adoption and maximize test utilization.
- Conduct client business reviews to retain and grow client business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or business-related field.
- At least 5 years of successful direct sales and business development experience in an academic hospital setting, preferably with experience in solid organ transplant, nephrology, hepatology, or laboratory environments.
- Experience with Direct-bill, Buy & Bill, or Capital Sales/Value Analysis pricing and billing models.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
- Customer service-focused with a professional attitude.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, able to prioritize tasks and mobilize resources to achieve sales objectives.
- Goal-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency with PC-based software programs, specifically Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems, and mobile applications.
