Title: Software Engineer (.NET C# Angular) – Senior Associate (Shield Team)
Location: Dallas, TX (On-site Tuesdays and Thursdays required)
Job Type: Contract (6+ months) with Right to Hire
Start Date: Week of July 7 or July 14
End Date: December 31, 2025 (Strong potential for extension or conversion to permanent)
Travel: None
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Shield Team supporting the US Tax Partnership line of service. This role is ideal for a highly skilled developer with a strong background in .NET Core, C#, Angular, and SQL, who thrives in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. The position requires physical presence in the Dallas office on designated in-office days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end software solutions for tax innovation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain high coding standards and adhere to industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in:
- .NET Core development
- C# programming
- SQL development
- Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Additional Information:
- Candidates must be physically located in Dallas, TX and available to work on-site Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- This is a contract-to-hire opportunity; candidates must start as contractors.
- No travel is expected for this role.
