EAH and is now seeking to strengthen the RCI Offroad team with a Technical Writer as the business continues to scale. This is an on-site full-time position and offers competitive compensation.

Position Description:
RCI Offroad is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Technical Drafter/Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and visually appealing installation guides, technical drawings, and shipping prints for our diverse product line. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have the information they need to install and enjoy our products while maintaining a consistent brand identity across all documentation. This position requires a strong understanding of SolidWorks, excellent technical writing skills, a passion for visual communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time opportunity that reports to the Design Engineer II at our Loveland, Colorado facility.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed and user-friendly installation guides, including exploded views, diagrams, and step-by-step instructions.
- Develop and maintain accurate technical drawings for manufacturing and shipping, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Generate shipping prints that clearly communicate product information and packaging details.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with RCI Offroad's branding guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and manufacturing personnel to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical documentation.
- Incorporate feedback from internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve the quality and usability of documentation.
- Manage revisions and updates to technical drawings and documentation, utilizing version control systems.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges related to drafting and documentation.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation templates and style guides.
Requirements
- 2 year technical writing/drafting degree or combination of education and experience equivalent to two years.
- Demonstrated ability to create clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including installation guides or similar materials.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing conventions, Solidworks, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent visual communication skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with the off-road automotive industry or a passion for off-roading is a plus.
- Extra skill: Proven proficiency in SolidWorks with experience creating exploded views, detailed drawings, and managing complex assemblies.
