Job Title: Test Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Santa Ana, CA

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Manager to join our team. The Test Manager will be responsible for leading the testing team and ensuring that all testing activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and experience managing a team.

Responsibilities:

Manager Responsibilities/Requirements: (Weight at about 30%-40%)

• Ability to lead a team of test technicians in the testing and debugging of products on a daily basis with an emphasis on hands-on managing and mentoring.
• Ability to work with program management and operations leads to ensure a smooth workflow of products.
• Strong planning skills with an emphasis on being able to adapt and prioritize workloads of the team based on efficiency and company needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Skills with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel or Project.
• Conflict resolution skills are a plus.
• Technical writing skills for test development or evaluations are a plus.

Test Technical Skill Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Job requires the manager to be hands-on with products and actively participate in testing and debugging.
• Strong debugging skills are a requirement.
• Ability to evaluate CCAs to a circuit/component and a strong understanding of schematics is required.
• Ability to take customer test procedures and apply them to products is required.
• Experience with Vibration/Thermal/Flying Probe/Boundary Scan/Continuity testing is a plus.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in software testing.
• 2+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs is required.
