Upholsterer **WILLING TO TRAIN** - Chuck's Tops & Trim

Do you have attention to detail, enjoy working with your hands, and have a positive attitude? At Chuck's Tops & Trim, we have an Auto Upholstery installation position to which we would like to train you and to which you could apply your technical knowledge.

SUMMARY

The Upholsterer works independently with our team to install leather interiors, including vehicle seats and related components.

COMPENSATION

Annual pay rate for the first year: $40,000. The second year: $45,000 to $50,000, depending on performance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation for disabilities may be made for each one or more of the following:

• Perform installations of leather interiors and related components
• Analyze work orders and products
• Maintain tools and installation supplies
• Completes service/installation documentation
• Other duties may be assigned

WAYS OF WORKING, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, BEHAVIORS, AND ABILITIES

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Education
• Experience using hand tools and vehicle electrical systems preferred
• Experience in auto trim, upholstery, seat/seating, interior trim, and/or the automotive industry, preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to read, analyze, and interpret work orders and specifications
• Self-motivated and internally driven to excel, quality-focused, and attention to detail
• Professionalism includes but is not limited to dependability, accountability, and punctuality
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
