Civil Engineer - Detroit, MI - JOB 25-01084

Salary Range: $120k - $130k Permanent Position with Benefits.

Detroit, Michigan area company is seeking to hire an experienced Professional Civil Engineer to design Water and Wastewater processing systems and facilities.

REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• P.E. License in the state of Michigan required
• 7+ years' work experience Municipal Water and Wastewater Collection and Treatment Systems facilities design
• Hydraulic modeling and project management experience is needed
• Ability to design and calculate hydraulic flow, pipe, pump, & valve sizing
• Design and review new facilities for upgrading water and wastewater infrastructures
• Attention to detail, strong leadership, ability to multitask, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills
• Identify specific water / wastewater issues and develop efficient engineering solutions for pump stations and storm systems
• Field testing, Hydraulic modeling, transmission and distribution main design, booster pump station design, water treatment plant design

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
